John Spence

John Spence – Euphonium (Baritone Horn)

Joined SCB in 2003, Desert Brass (20 years), Pops Band, various jazz and dance bands (trombone), taught in Torrance, CA schools (HS, MS, Elem) 33 years. Retired in 1998, moved to Denver. Played with Denver Concert Band – tours in eastern US, western and southern Europe. Moved to SCW because of snow and ice. Married to Diane, two children (grown) one a college professor in nursing, the other an Army officer.
