Sun City Concert Band 

Jim and his wife, Julie, moved to the West Valley in 1997 after a 30 year career with the NCR Corporation. He retired in 1994 as Vice President of Data Services.

Jim was President of The Sun City Concert Band from January 2020 until January 2024. In addition to playing saxophone in the Sun City Concert Band, he also plays in the Rhythm Ramblers and the Saguaro Saxes. He previously was a member and president of the West Valley Wind Ensemble. He also was a member of the Surprise Pops Band, Kettering Ohio Community Band and played clarinet in the Mellow Winds clarinet choir.
